Rules and Restrictions

The main rule is, that you can fly above congested or populated area at 300 meters above ground level (AGL)
and non-congested or non-populated area 150 meters above ground level (AGL).
Other rule is, that you can fly with paramotor or tandem paramotor up to 1200 meters above mean sea level (AMSL).
Paramotors fly according to VFR (visual flying rule),
this means that you can only take off, when the weather allows at least 1500 meters visuality under 900 meters AMSL.
Above 900 meters AMSL, the visual distance should be above 5000 meters.

Hungarian pilots need to have a permit for motor, permit for prop, qualification level, insurance and medical approval.
