AMSL – Above Mean Sea Level
CTA – Control Area

CTR – Controlled Traffic Region
A control zone (CTR or controlled traffic region) in aviation is a volume of controlled airspace, normally around an airport, which extends from the surface to a specified upper limit, established to protect air traffic operating to and from that airport.
FL – Flight Level
ICAO – International Civil Aviation Organization
MCTR – Military Controlled Traffic Region
The controlled airspace of a military airport control area extends from the surface of the earth or water to a specified upper altitude. Its upper limit is equal to the lower limit of the controlled airspace above the airport control area.
MTMA – MilitaryTerminal Manoeuvring Area
Its lower limit changes according to geographical conditions and air traffic, but is nowhere lower than 600 feet (200 m) above the surface of the ground.
TMA – Terminal Manoeuvring Area
The lower bound of an airspace established in the vicinity of one or more major airports varies according to geographical conditions and air traffic, but is nowhere below 600 feet (200 m) above ground level.
TRA – Temporary Reserved Area
In periodically restricted airspace, a State aircraft is engaged in an aviation activity that may pose a threat to aircraft not participating in that activity.
